AURUM TIDE

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

AURUM TIDE ("we", "us", "our") operates this website. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect from visitors and business customers, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who We Are

AURUM TIDE is a fragrance supplier based in Guangzhou, China, serving B2B customers worldwide, including retailers, distributors and private-label brands. For any privacy question, contact us at sales@aurumtidefragrance.com.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you submit our wholesale inquiry form, or contact us by email or WhatsApp, we collect: company name, contact name, business email, phone / WhatsApp number, country, product category of interest, estimated order volume, and the content of your message. Section fields marked optional are not required in order to reach us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, analytics tools collect technical data such as pages viewed, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type, referring source, and interactions such as clicks and scroll depth. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiry, prepare quotations and samples, and follow up on your request;
  • To communicate with you about products, pricing, lead times and orders;
  • To understand how visitors use the website and improve its content, usability and performance;
  • To keep the website secure and prevent spam or abusive traffic;
  • To comply with applicable legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your business contact details for unrelated third-party advertising.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (analytics cookies, where required); our legitimate interests (responding to a business inquiry you initiated, and securing and improving our website); performance of a contract (processing orders); and compliance with legal obligations (record-keeping).

5. Cookies, Analytics and Session Recordings

Our website uses a small number of analytics tools that set cookies or similar identifiers:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — measures traffic, traffic sources and conversion events such as inquiry form submissions or clicks on WhatsApp, email or phone links. Reporting is aggregated.
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — records anonymised session replays and heatmaps (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement) so we can find usability problems. Form input fields are masked by default, so the text you type into the inquiry form is not captured.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install an opt-out extension for Google Analytics. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to browse the website or send us an inquiry.

6. Service Providers

We share data only with providers that help us operate the website and communicate with you: website hosting, content management (Sanity), DNS and network security (Cloudflare), email delivery (Resend), email hosting, and the analytics providers named above. These providers process data on our instructions and under their own security and privacy commitments.

7. Data Retention

Inquiry records and correspondence are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain our business relationship, and afterwards for the period required by applicable commercial and tax law. Analytics data is retained under each provider's default retention settings and reviewed periodically.

8. International Transfers

Our business is based in Guangzhou, China, and our service providers may process data in the European Union, the United States or other regions. Where required, such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request its correction or deletion, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and request data portability. California residents have the right to know, delete and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any right, email sales@aurumtidefragrance.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by law.

10. Security

We use technical and organisational measures such as HTTPS encryption, access controls and reputable service providers to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we limit collection to what is necessary for the purposes described above.

11. Children

This website is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
